161 Faces of Cornell

A street photography project on Cornell’s campus by The Cornell Daily Sun Photography Department.

In the fall of 2010, students from the Sun began photographing 161 members of the Cornell community each season. This number corresponds with the steps to the top of Cornell’s iconic clock tower. Featuring students, alumni, faculty, and staff, these snapshots have continued to represent a small sample of Cornell’s population that just happened to be walking by at the moment. With each new group of student photographers, the project has continued to evolve each season while staying true to its original goals: Simple. Spontaneous. Street style.
