After a whirlwind of summer renovations, Jansen’s Dining Hall opens its doors this fall with sleek new countertops spilling into the dining area. The new space features stations with sizzling stir-fry, hot deli meats and “Salads By Design.”

The added serving area is designed to improve selection and to create more personalized menu options. “We tried to make the dining hall more appealing to students by adding station cooking and enhancing the food displays,” explained Colleen Reeba, Jansen’s manager.

After having studied surveys of students and current restaurant trends Reeba says, “we have tried to adapt our dining services to what the public thinks of when they think of dining out.”
