It was a tough weekend for both the men’s and women’s squash teams in New Haven, as Yale took both matches by twin 8-1 scores on Saturday. The lone bright spot for the Red was women’s No. 1 player Olga Puigdemont Sola, the senior All-American, who won her match 3-0.

Puigdemont Sola extended her personal winning streak to five matches at the top of the lineup for the Red (1-4). In the second spot, senior Andrea McNeely fought valiantly before falling 3-2.

On the men’s side, Brad Mosier was the lone victor for Cornell, as he defeated Yale’s Chris Olsen 3-0. Junior Neal Soo fell 3-2 to Josh Schwartz in a hard-fought, close second-spot match. In the ninth spot, senior Chad Burkhardt also played very well, despite falling 3-2. The team’s record now stands at 2-5.

Both the men and women will be in action on Sunday at Brown.
