The Cornell University Board of Trustees is meeting today from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Johnson Museum of Art. The meeting will be open to the public until 9:45 a.m.

The Board will cover several topics and will hear reports from President Hunter R. Rawlings III; Uzo Asonye ’02, president of the Student Assembly; and Patrick Carr grad, president of the Graduate and Professional Student Assembly.

In addition, the Board will address the statutory colleges, “including a discussion of tuition,” according to Henrik N. Dullea ’61, vice president for University relations.

Carr was unsure about the details of his report last night.

“We’ll go over some of the stuff we’ve done this year,” he said.

The Board’s various committees met yesterday at the Statler Hotel. The Buildings and Properties Committee met to update on the status of current projects. The Committee on Academic Affairs and Campus Life had a meeting with a brief open session; members approved the minutes of January’s meeting. Also, the Committee on Land Grant and Statutory College Affairs held an open meeting on SUNY relationships, tuition recommendations and world poverty.

Today’s meeting will take place in the Johnson Museum’s Trustee Meeting Room.
