Of the 10 riders who competed for Regionals, the equestrian team had four riders advance to Zones this past weekend. Senior tri-captain Julie Canter led the way advancing in Open flat. She was joined by sophomore Jeannette Pettit in Intermediate flat, sophomore Alaina Hoffman in Novice flat and Erin Goodrich in the Walk-trot division.
“We are very proud of all of our Regional qualifiers and believe they all deserved one of the three spots for Zones,” commented head coach Chris Mitchell. “The competition, however, was extremely tough all around.”
