W. Hoops to Welcome Ivy Foes

For seniors Sarah Brown, Brittani Rettig and Hillary Seidel, this weekend will be the end of four years of ups and downs. Although Cornell cannot win the Ivy League title, the seniors have a chance to lead the team in making an impact on who does, as well as help the Red reach some significant program milestones.

Cornell (8-17, 5-7 Ivy) faces Harvard (10-14, 6-5) tonight, and Dartmouth (18-6, 9-2) tomorrow for the Red’s season finale and Senior Night.

The Crimson currently reside in fourth place, two games ahead of the fifth-place Red. If the Red can win out this weekend, along with the Crimson losing both its weekend contests, Cornell will clinch a fourth-place tie with Harvard. This would be the first time the team has both broken into the top half of the standings and recorded a .500 record in the Ancient Eight since 2001-02, the last season before current head coach Dayna Smith was hired.
