$7,800 worth of equipment was stolen from a construction site at 395 Pine Tree Road, just north of East Hill Plaza, near the East Hill Car Wash.

The stolen equipment includes two construction trailers that contained welders and other items.

One of the stolen trailers is six feet long by four feet wide, with green rims and a red plywood deck. The trailer contained a blue, 225-amp Miller Bobcat welder and a gasoline engine with “JC Lowery Inc.” written on the side. The trailer also contained wire leads measuring 200 feet in length.

The second stolen trailer is a white, metal-covered trailer with open sides, containing a Miller Bobcat welder with a broken starter.

Investigators said that the thefts occurred between 3:30 p.m. on Friday, Oct., 27 and 7 a.m. Monday, Oct. 30.

Cornell Police are asking the public to contact them at 255-1111 if they have seen the trailers or other stolen equipment — or if they observed any unusual activity at the construction site.
