Taste of Culture is an international dessert-tasting event co-hosted by
TIP and LPP. At this event, representatives of various cultures offer delicious desserts to the Cornell community – entirely free of charge! In order to receive the desserts, however, the guests must ask for each dessert in the language of the country that the dessert is from. If you find this prospect intimidating, don’t worry. English signposts and native speakers are present at each table to help you. After receiving the 2006 Outstanding Event that Celebrates Campus Diversity Award, Taste of Culture moved to a bigger location – Willard Straight Hall Memorial Room, which means shorter lines and more desserts! Come try samples of desserts and languages you may never have tried before. We hope to see you at the next Taste of Culture!
