On April 25, an officer was dispatched at approximately 1:10 p.m. to Mac’s Café at the Statler Hotel to take a report from a student regarding the theft of an unsecured IBM laptop computer with power cord. The stolen items were valued together at approximately $2,500.
Burglary
On April 27, an officer was dispatched to Goldwin Smith Hall at approximately 9:30 a.m. to take a report regarding the theft of fourteen Great Expectations paperback books. Together, the books were valued at $196.
Criminal Mischief
An officer was dispatched on April 27 at approximately 11:30 a.m to take a report from a student whose parked vehicle was scratched by an unknown individual(s). The incident occurred in CC Lot, and the damage was valued at approximately $100.
Unlawful Dealing With Fireworks
James M. Doehring of Cedar Park, TX was referred to Ithaca City Court on April 29 for unlawful dealing with fireworks after an officer was dispatched to Stewart Avenue at approximately 2 a.m.
