The parking garage on Dryden Road reopened yesterday; the garage had been closed for two months for a rehabilitation project. Work is expected to continue in several areas for a few days, according to a City of Ithaca release.
The project, which cost $460,000, included structural repairs on the stair towers, doors and facade, as well as concrete restoration to the parking decks, according to the release.
“The City really appreciates all of the cooperation we received from Cornell University, the Collegetown community and staff members who worked hard to minimize the amount of disruption and inconvenience caused by the project,” Assistant City Engineer Tom West stated in the release.
