Newman Arena was briefly quarantined yesterday after two athletes taken to Gannett tested positive for a drug-resistant form of Staph. Although the names of the athletes were witheld, ranking members within Cornell Athletics confirmed to The Sun that the cases affected athletes from different teams and that the source of the outbreak was identified.
Multiple sources within the Cornell Athletics Deptarment confirmed to The Sun on condition of anonymity that the infections were treatable and that Newman would re-open when everyone stopped
