For this week’s Student Artist Spotlight, I stumbled upon Greg Funk, a senior painter and owner of one of the best goddamn last names ever. It’s near perfect … perfection would require his first name to be Cobra, Z or Falcon. But alas, Greg was not given that choice, just as the hordes of babies born every day will not be allowed to choose their own first names. It is one of our most outrageous global inequalities, one that I will continue to fight against to my last dying breath.
