1) The Park Avenue Armory in New York City just finished restorations in 2011 and has been transformed into a space for a series of art projects. Located on Park Avenue between 66th and 67th, it’s just two blocks from Central Park. The video showcases how different projects use this space and some of the restorations that have been made.
Check out their website here, while you’re at it: http://www.armoryonpark.org/
2) For anyone who’s a fan of the “Keep Calm And Carry On” posters, this is a cool video on how it all began.
1) As a disclaimer, I am not trying to make a political statement of any kind. That being said, this video makes me laugh every. single. time. I just want you to watch this and see a man lose his freaking mind. Listen for the awkward yelp he makes at 1:49 and keep in mind while watching that he is running to be nominated on the ballot for treasurer. You can’t say he’s not passionate about it.
Drastic times call for what? DRASTIC MEASURES. And apparently over-enunciation.
Also, I know there have been a million and one memes flying around Facebook and some are pretty great, while others are…not. To go along with all of those, check out memes in real life. The last one is my favorite.
