Last Saturday, the Red gymnastics team hosted Senior Day at Teagle. Rutgers, Eastern Michigan and Temple made the trip to Ithaca for an afternoon meet, where Cornell posted a strong 191.275 — the team’s second consecutive score over 190.000. These high scores came after six straight meets where Cornell scored between 188.675 and 189.900.

The Red is hoping to keep climbing in the regional rankings as it gets closer to the championships. This weekend, the team travels to Providence, R.I. to face Brown in a dual meet. The showdown begins on Sunday at 1 p.m.

Two weeks ago, Cornell and Brown faced off at the Ivy Classic, hosted at Newman Arena. While the Red came out ahead with a score of 191.875, the Bears were not far behind at 191.075.
