Ron Paul’s Lynah Speech Is Sold Out

The 4,200 tickets to Ron Paul’s town-hall forum at Lynah Rink, which will be held Thursday at 7 p.m., have all been sold, according to Cornell Republicans Chair Raj Kannappan ’13.

Six hundred people remain on the wait-list for the event, Kannappan said, but they may have as good a shot of getting in as those on the wait-list to the University.

Kannappan added that while there were concerns earlier in the week about finding enough funding for the event, the Cornell Republicans have since raised $1,500, and Paul’s campaign has since donated $5,000. He explained that because Paul’s speech is a campaign event, no University department is allowed to provide funding.
