A fire was reported at the State Street Diner at approximately 4:40 p.m. Tuesday, according to the Ithaca Fire Department.
As of 5:34 p.m., IFD officers were still fighting the fire at the diner, which is located on 428 West Martin Luther King Jr. St. No injuries have been reported yet.
Passersby said that the street was closed down as emergency responders fought the fire.
