Two Ithaca College students were apprehended for making graffiti on the north end of the Columbia Street pedestrian bridge on Friday, according to the Ithaca Police Department.
The two students, Alexander C. Hilton and Joshua L. Leary, attempted to flee but were taken into custody and were charged with making graffiti, a class A misdemeanor and possession of graffiti instruments, a class B misdemeanor, according to IPD. Hilton was also charged with unlawful possession of marijuana. Both subjects were released on a $250 cash bail.
Police said an additional charge may be pending.
