This Friday, Cornell’s men’s and women’s cross country teams will head to Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts for the Boston College Invitational. The meet follows only weeks after big wins from both the men’s and women’s teams in their season opening meets at Army. Although both teams had a strong start to their seasons, Friday’s invitational is predicted to be one of the most competitive meets of the season on both sides.

On the men’s side, Ivy rivals Columbia, Dartmouth and Harvard, as well as their Northeast rivals Providence and Syracuse, make up the opposition. All of these teams were able to notch victories against the Red last season.

According to Assistant Coach Zeb Lang, “[These schools] always field excellent teams.”
