If you’re going to hook up with me, I want it to be at my place. The only exception to this rule is if you have a single and I have roommates (#tbt freshman year), but otherwise I am going to insist on my place. I don’t want to have to keep my room clean for visitors, and I don’t want to have to wash my sheets more than usual. If you’re a bad hookup, I don’t want to worry about how to get you to leave. However, all of these cons are significantly overwhelmed by the legitimate reasons I would rather do it at my place.
Not all of these reasons apply to every guy’s house; maybe you’re super clean and have a breakfast buffet and a new toothbrush to give away. In that case, you’re my dream hookup and maybe this can turn into a consistent thing. However, in most cases it’s going to take a lot of convincing to get me to go to your place. It will be a more pleasant experience for both of us if I don’t have to sleep in my skinny jeans.
