In its last travel game of the season, the Red drove six hours to Providence, Rhode Island, for an Ivy League matchup against Brown University this past weekend. Going into the match Cornell was 1-3 in-conference and 7-7 overall, keeping its season at .500 before facing Brown. Its opponent was coming in with a less impressive record, 0-2-2 in the Ivy League, and 5-6-3 overall. Despite the seemingly uneven matchup for this season, Cornell has not beaten Brown since 2008. This past Sunday, Brown once again pulled away from the Big Red and won with a score of 2-0.
