Based on both Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night and the music of Elvis, All Shook Up was a lively “jukebox musical” without a dull moment. While it explored themes of racial inequality and unrequited love, the show had a very positive perspective. Performed in Risley Theatre and directed by Andrea Fiorentini ’16, the upbeat music, onstage orchestra, powerful vocals, plot twists and hilarious awkwardness prevented the audience from checking their watches or reaching for their cell phones.
