Although incumbent Rep. Tom Reed (R-N.Y.) bested Martha Robertson ’75 (D) in a landslide victory Tuesday evening in the battle for New York’s 23rd, voters within Tompkins County disagreed with the majority of the district.
In his victory speech Tuesday night at the Radisson Hotel Corning, Reed claimed that his success represented all residents of western New York.
