Titilope Omolayo Ojo, a visiting fellow at the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences, spoke about shea and its role in the lives of Nigerians in Mann Library on Monday.

Ojo — who also serves on the national advisory committee for a Dutch funded project in Nigeria called Toward Sustainable Clusters in Agribusiness through Learning in Entrepreneurship — said shea butter is important worldwide, but particularly valuable to the women of Africa who make use of it in various aspects of their lives.
