This was a great trade for the Pellies, but there is a lot of pressure going forward with the level of talent with which they now find themselves. They have the potential to be among the only teams in the West capable of sustaining opposition to Golden State.
Stevens loves to win, and so do his players … he has been able to turn losing teams into winning teams within a few years. Perhaps a factor in his success has been that, until now, Stevens has been grossly underestimated by his opponents.
