Before Thursday’s announcement that Taio Cruz will headline Slope Day, artists Flo Rida and Weezer turned down offers to perform, a member of the Slope Day Programming Board told The Sun on the condition of anonymity.
Taio Cruz was at least the SDPB’s fourth choice. Avicii, the electronic music phenom, turned down Slope Day’s first offer to perform, The Sun reported on March 16.
