Cornell Researchers Find Possible Origin of Ovarian Cancer

Ovarian cancer is infamous for being difficult to detect. Symptoms are subtle until later stages, when treatment options are limited. Additionally, diagnosis of ovarian cancer is problematic because there is dispute in the scientific community about which cells the cancer arises from.

But Prof. Alexander Nikitin, pathology, has discovered a possible origin of epithelial ovarian cancer.
