According to the International Association of Athletics Federation, Cornell’s track and field team has three returning players ranked in the Top-100 worldwide.
Senior All-American and Cornell record holder Montez Blair ranks No. 9 in the United States and No. 41 in the world in the high jump. Blair focuses his attention away from individual rankings and toward his individual performance each game, as well as his team’s overall national ranking.
“I honestly don’t know my exact ranking. … My focus is more on my team’s national ranking than anything else,” Blair said.
