This weekend, the Cornell women’s tennis team will jump start its season at the Cornell Invitational tournament. The following weekend, Cornell men will travel to Princeton for the Ivy Plus Invitational.
Last season, the women’s team had a 7-10 record and 0-7 record in the Ivy League. This year, the team hopes to come back from last season and make a stronger impression.
“I’m looking forward to working with the returners and freshman and really bouncing back from last season,” said junior Dena Tanenbaum.
Tanenbaum said she expects this season to be very different from last year’s, due to the team’s large incoming class.
