“The race remains competitive,” he said. “But after Monday night, I’m increasingly confident that we’re headed for a Clinton victory in November.”
“Trump has demonstrated no understanding of tribal sovereignty, so many worry that because of that he would effectively start another termination period for Native nations,” NASAC said.
“I hope that by attending tonight and learning more about the issues they can become informed citizens who drive change,” he said.
The New York Federation said it was “happy to report” that a majority of new leadership supported reinstating the Cornellians.
Fifty-four women, 44 men and one gender-nonconforming respondent participated in the survey.
“We at the Federation would like to say goodbye to Eli Nachmany, who has resigned as Chairman in order to focus on getting our party’s nominee elected in November,” the NY Federation wrote in a post on its Facebook page Friday.
“I gave Eli Nachmany fair warning that we would seek legal redress if we were not reinstated, and he chose to laugh at me over the phone and was uncooperative with my requests,” Corn said. “I got off of my phone call with him, walked into my father’s room, and I said ‘Call Ron, I think we have a legal case.’”
Jacobs explained to a crowd of nearly 200 students and professors how Trump, whether knowingly or not, capitalizes on modern trends in public opinion to attract voters.
