Over winter break, Cornell students began building an affordable and environmentally sustainable model house in  Nicaragua.

After leading sustainability outreach projects at six K-12 schools across the country, eight members of Cornell University Sustainable Design will end their nine-day cross-country bus trip in San Francisco, C.A., on Wednesday.

Cornell University Sustainable Design –– a student group that designs and builds environmentally friendly structures –– plans to embark on a project to create an environmentally sustainable neighborhood in a small rural area of San Diego, Nicaragua.
