Let the Virgin Games begin. Meredith Joyce '14 was initated into the freewheeling world of Rocky Horror at Friday's Risley show, which was appropriately not quite film, and not quite play either. 

The pair of star-crossed lovers are not the only stars of Risley Theatre's electrifying take on Romeo and Juliet. Charley Du '16 was mesmerized by the rock-and-roll extravaganze, bare: A Pop Opera, which dealt with homosexuality, romance and religion.

A transposition of Romeo and Juliet with a modern twist, bare: A Pop Opera, produced by the Melodramatics Theater Company, premieres today at Risley Theater. Charley Du '16 interviews the musical's director, Spencer Whale '14, and offers a behind-the-scenes look at this politically and emotionally charged production.
