Kurt Vonnegut Jr. ’44, former Sun assistant managing editor and associate editor, will forever be remembered by members of The Cornell Daily Sun for his lasting contributions to and his praise of this newspaper. Vonnegut spoke at The Sun's 125th anniversary dinner in September 2005 in Manhattan; his speech can be viewed here.

RIP The Best Writer I Ever Read

It's a nice piece of literary history that Cornell Daily Sun is part of. Here in England, I've been hitting the bookshop every time a new Vonnegut book crossed the Atlantic ever since 1977, when I first read him. I'm going to miss that pedestrian pilgrimage to drop in on an irreplaceable talent so much.
