• Are you in a charitable mood? Yes? Well, then check out the “No Half Steppin' Charity Step Show” tomorrow night at 7:30 p.m. Harvard’s Lowell Lecture Hall will house a showcase of several different step groups. Sponsored by the Harvard Society of Black Scientists and Engineers, the show will include stepping from Harvard’s own sophomore team, as well as groups from other colleges.

• If you thought theater means arriving at the venue, seeing a play and leaving, you are sadly misinformed. Tomorrow night the Yale Repertory Theatre, located at 1120 Chapel Street, is holding its Grad Night special showing of “Trouble in Mind” at 7 p.m. The special event includes a pre-show talk with the creative minds behind the play. Also, if anyone reading this happens to be a Yale grad student, there are refreshments and appetizers.

• Cornell isn’t the only Ivy inviting families to visit their favorite students this weekend. In celebration of its Parent’s Weekend, Brown is having several exciting concerts. For those of you who think the term “a capella” was coined by Ezra himself, Harmonic Motion, a co-ed group composed of students from both Brown and the Rhode Island School of Design, is putting on a show in Macmillan Hall 117 from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. Saturday.

• Tonight at 8, the Pittsburg Collective will play the music of David Sanford, who composes a fusion of jazz, R&B and funk. The show takes place in Columbia’s Miller Theatre, located at 116th and Broadway. Innovative cellist Matt Haimovitz will join the band. Hamiovitz, whose stylistic range stretches from Bach to Hendrix, has left his musical mark on all fifty states across the nation.
