This article appeared in the 2007 edition of the annual Halloween joke issue. The content below was intended for entertainment and parody purposes only and is not true. Happy Halloween!

In the Oct. 26 edition of The Sun, the news article “Skorton Addresses C.U. Community” incorrectly stated that President Skorton wanted to blow up Ithaca College. Skorton, in fact, did not say this.

Additionally, in the same issue, the article “Women’s Soccer Wins,” incorrectly stated that the Cornell women’s soccer team won a game. The team, in fact, has not won a game in a long time, nor has it scored a goal. Sorry, guys.

In the Oct. 28 edition, the article “Softball Gears Up for Spring Season,” incorrectly stated that the softball coach’s name is Richard Blood. His name is actually Dick Blood.

Lastly, in the Oct. 30 edition, the article “Diversity Forums Fail to Attract Students,” incorrectly reported that six students showed up to the most recent open diversity forum. Seven students actually showed up to the forum, but one left after a few minutes to get some decaf at Trillium and never came back after falling into the composting machine.

The Sun really, really, really, regrets the errors. Yikes.
