Going right along with what Steve said yesterday, yes, we are in the midst of the typical springtime weather pattern as temperatures hover around the 60 degree mark. We are also in the “April showers” stage, as after today, there is an ongoing chance of showers until Sunday. Our best chance for rain looks to be Thursday night into Friday, as showers from the low pressure system that has been devastating the Midwest with tornadoes will move up towards the Northeast. Although there will be plenty of Gulf moisture with this system, it will be much weaker than it was when it gave the Midwest those tornadoes by the time it gets up here. As for the weekend: not terrible, but not excellent. Sunday will be the nice day, and Saturday will be cool and damp, as a result of a surface low pressure system that will be in our area.
