Sadly, today’s another wet one. This storm system is the same one that wreaked havoc in the Great Plains two days ago, with many fatalities reported in relation to tornadoes and severe thunderstorms. Of course, the best defense against severe weather is to be in Ithaca. Interesting/dangerous weather doesn’t stand a chance here. It will just be cloudy, rainy and disgusting all day. We might hear a clap of thunder this afternoon with some daytime heating, but otherwise, expect a typical rainy day in Ithaca. The weekend will be a slight improvement, but the chance of rain still exists tomorrow. Sunday will be a good break, followed by a chance of rain into next week. I can’t say anything about Slope Day yet, so stay tuned!
