Meredith Rosenberg '92 and William McAleer '73 MBA '75 were elected the newest representatives on Cornell's Board of Trustees, the University announced Tuesday.

According to an email sent to alumni by Bob Harrison '76, chair of the Board, more votes — 27,685 — were submitted this election than ever before. Rosenberg and McAleer will join the Board this July.

"You elected two extraordinary alumni to help guide the University in the years leading up to our sesquicentennial," Harrison wrote to alumni in the email.
