Men's Lacrosse Faces Navy For First Time in Three Years

The last time the men’s lacrosse team was on the field, it was reeling from a last-second goal by Duke’s Zac Greer that kept the Red from having a shot in the National championship game.

Much of the core of that team — Eric Pittard ’07 and David Mitchell ’07 on offense, Mitch Belisle ’07 on defense and Matt McMonagle ’07 in goal — is gone.

Still, the team enters this season ranked No. 6 in the country, and will have its ranking tested right out of the gate against No. 12 Navy tomorrow on Long Island.Another shot: Junior Max Seibald, recently named to the Tewarraton Trophy Watch List, will help the Red open the season against Navy tomorrow.
