Biography: Mike Wacker is The Sun's Assistant Web Editor and additionally contributes blogs and opinion columns. A sophomore at Cornell University, he majors in computer science. He actively participated in speech and debate back in high school and still values his debate skills to this day. A member of the Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod, he attends Trinity Lutheran Church in Ithaca, NY and also Faith Lutheran Church when he returns home to St. Louis, MO. Since he hails from St. Louis, he zealously supports the Cardinals in baseball. He generally identifies himself as a conservative but also exhibits some maverick tendencies.
