Biography: Abubakar Jalloh is a science writer for the Cornell Daily Sun. He is a junior studying Biological Sciences with a focus on genetics and development and a minor in Communication. When not in the newsroom, he is working at The Boyce Thompson Institute for Plant Research studying Phytophthora capsici-host interaction and looking for possible ways to fulfill his Premed requirements. He is currently a Science Editor-in-Training. Abubakar's interests lie at the intersection of science journalism and life science research. In 2008 only, he participated in four research panels, attended three research seminars, served as Copy Editor for The Researcher Paper Magazine and Production Editor for The Triple Helix magazine.
