David Wittenberg
Biography: David is The Sun's associate editor. In addition to running The Sun's opinion pages, David blogs about the election from a youth perspective at CBSNews.com and WashingtonPost.com. He studies American history and government. David joined The Sun's news staff during his freshman year. Since then, he has covered everything from the club cricket team to the rise and fall of former New York Governor Eliot Spitzer. Steeped in politics as well as journalism, David has volunteered on John Kerry's senatorial and presidential campaigns. He interned on Deval Patrick's campaign for governor of Massachusetts, in the constituency office of Senator Edward M. Kennedy and in the Washington office of Representative Barney Frank. David is a native of Newton, Mass., and a lifelong fan of the Boston Red Sox.
