Guy Ross
Location: Ithaca, N.Y.
Biography: I am a senior history major in Arts and Sciences. On the side, I split my time between tourguiding and instructing for Cornell Outdoor Education. I have taught many advanced rock climbing, ice climbing and tree climbing courses for COE (including a 10 day course in Costa Rica) and have done several back-country backpacking expeditions in Big Bend National Park, Texas, the Wind River Range, Wyo., and the Adirondacks, N.Y. I am also involved in Outdoor Odyssey, a pre-orientation program that conducts wilderness trips for incoming freshman. Other random hobbies of mine include xc and telemark skiing, mountain biking, road biking, kayaking and trail running.
