Men's Hockey Hits Road Facing UVM, Dartmouth

The men’s hockey team aims to remain undefeated as it travels to Vermont (2-4-2, 0-2-0 ECAC) and Dartmouth (1-3-0, 0-2-0) this weekend for its first ECAC road games.

The Red (3-0-0, 2-0-0) is coming off a four-point weekend in which it beat an undermanned Yale team, 6-2, and shut out Princeton, 3-0.

Tonight Cornell visits the Catamounts at Gutterson Field House, where both of Vermont’s wins have come. Despite UVM’s losing record and 14-game conference losing streak, it has shown flashes of competitiveness this season.

Vermont forced a 1-1 tie with seventh-ranked Boston University and showed offensive prowess in an 8-6 loss to top-ranked Boston College earlier this year.

“Obviously, they have the firepower to hang with some of the big teams in the country, so they’re definitely a team we’re not going to look past,” said senior co-captain Stephen B
