In the fall of 1999, the senior class donned the Cornell jersey for the first time and began its four-year stretch at Lynah Rink and the arenas around the ECAC. During that time, the class of 2003 has chased milestones and helped return the program to national prominence — which, of course, is what the seven seniors had in mind the whole time.
“The coaches, when they were recruiting us, that’s the picture they were painting for us — the idea that our team could be successful on a national level,” said senior Mark McRae. “But so far, No. 2 in the nation is pretty good, so I’d be excited about it.”
