Paolini scores in OT to give Red ECAC tourney

ALBANY, N.Y. — Head coach Mike Schafer ’86 had been carrying the same pair of black dress shoes around for three years, since Cornell (28-4-1, 19-2-1 ECAC) started its run at three consecutive ECAC championship games. He carried those shoes all the way to the podium Saturday night after Cornell’s 3-2 overtime victory in this year’s title game.
