Mary J. Blige was reppin’ for the block when J. Lo was just a fly girl cabbage-patching between skits on In Living Color, was penning autobiographical ballads while Ashanti was penning book reports, and sang about complicated relationships before Avril entered grade one. And now, she’s back.

You might’ve thought she was going to slow down after 2001’s No More Drama, but fans knew better. Mary’s an artist. Her voice is her brush, her palette; Love & Life, a fitting title for her sixth studio release.
