Since my freshman year at Cornell, I have passed 602 West Buffalo Street on countless occasions, pitying the poor abandoned restaurant with the cute name. On Monday January 16th, Joe’s sprang to life once again, and I couldn’t help but wonder: would the food be the same food that won “best restaurant” in the Ithaca Times for eleven straight years?

I walked into Joe’s not knowing quite what to expect: the white table clothes implied a more upscale dining experience, but the traditional menu is reminiscent of the Olive Garden. My question was immediately answered when our server took out a ballpoint pen and wrote her name on our table,
