Laptop Stolen on Campus
A CUPD officer was dispatched at 9:13 a.m. on Aug. 16 to take a report of grand larceny from a staff member at the Computing and Communications Center. A Dell Latitude D600 laptop computer and wheeled laptop convertible backpack were reported stolen. The items were valued at $1,948.
Windows Broken in White, Hughes
On Aug. 16, a CUPD officer was dispatched to White Hall regarding a rock thrown through a basement window; the damage was valued at $100. On Aug. 21, a CUPD officer was dispatched for a similar crime involving rocks thrown through two windows in the Dining Hall of Hughes Hall; the damage was valued at $200.
Four Students Caught Smoking Marijuana in Dorms
At 2:12 a.m. on Aug. 20, four individuals were caught possessing marijuana in Cascadilla Hall. They have been referred to the Judicial Administrator for further investigation.
Petit Larceny
An Apple Ipod valuing $200 was reported stolen from Lyon Hall on Aug. 13.
A Differential Equation textbook valuing $100 was reported stolen from Duffield Hall on Aug. 15
A Trek 1000 bicycle and bicycle lock valuing $680 were reported stolen from the Vet Research Tower on Aug. 16.
A plant valuing $300 was reported stolen from the main administration building of the Cornell Plantations on Aug. 18.
Four textbooks valuing $165 were reported stolen from Olin Hall on Aug. 17.
