James H. Morris law ’08 was killed in a car accident last Saturday night in Carbondale, Ill. When he was minutes away from his parents’ house, his car swerved off the road, apparently to avoid a deer, according to an email to the law school community.

Morris served as associate editor of the Cornell Journal of Law and Public Policy and was a member of the Christian Legal Society.

There will be a funeral service today at 10 a.m. at Grand Avenue Christian Church in Carbondale, Ill.
