    Deckhead:
Sophomore guard led Red in scoring

    Body:
Sophomore Adam Gore did not wait long to let the Ivy League basketball world know how dangerous he could be with the ball in his hands. In just the second game of his collegiate career, Gore scored 22 points — including six 3-pointers — in a tightly contested 67-62 loss to then No. 16 Syracuse. Now, on the eve of his second campaign, the reigning Ivy League Rookie of the Year will look to use his scoring prowess to propel the Red to the top of the Ancient Eight.

  • M. Soccer to Finish Up Against Green

    By Harrison D. Sanford November 3, 2006

    Body:
Always leave a on a good note — that will be the men’s soccer team’s goal tomorrow as it plays against Dartmouth in Cornell’s last match of the season.
Both teams are competing for spots within the upper half of the Ancient Eight standings. The Red has not finished within the top half since the 1999 season. A win for the Cornelian squad would tie them for fourth place with Dartmouth. For Dartmouth, a win could possibly tie them for second in the league.
